How Volunteers Help
Volunteers support our work in many different ways, always guided by compassion and understanding.
Some help at events by welcoming guests, assisting with logistics, or lending a steady presence, while others contribute behind the scenes through writing, organization, or professional skills.
Because we are a small, grassroots team, things can move quickly. Volunteers who are patient, flexible, and open to evolving needs help us continue showing up for individuals and families with care and consistency.
More than One Way to Help
Volunteering does not look the same for everyone.
Meaningful support may include offering your time, sharing information within your personal or professional network, or simply helping others learn about the resources available through Never Alone Cancer Foundation.
At its heart, volunteering is about kindness, empathy, and a willingness to support others in a way that feels right for you.
Volunteer Information Sessions
We host volunteer information sessions throughout the year to share more about our work, current opportunities, and how you might become involved. These sessions offer a chance to ask questions, connect with our team, and explore roles that feel comfortable and meaningful.
To learn more or express interest, connect with Maureen (Maureen@nacf.ca) and we will begin the conversation together.
